Qumran Collection
The collection was inspired by the history of the ancient Qumran manuscripts, which were believed to have been discovered in clay vessels inside caves located near the ruins of ancient settlements by the Dead Sea. These manuscripts most likely belonged to the Essene community and contain religious texts. Written in Aramaic, Hebrew, and Greek, they are dated to the 3rd–2nd century BCE.
