Welcome, I am Anna Maria!
I am a graduate of the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw at the Faculty of Artistic Design and Ceramics (2013-2018). I participated in the Erasmus+ program at Diatehnon Studio in Cyprus (2018-2019). I received a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2022) and KPO for a Culture (2024). I am a member of the Food Think Tank collective.
I am fascinated by ancient culture and art, especially from the Sumerian civilisation, Egypt of the Pharaonic era and the birth of Christianity in the Middle East. My work interweaves motifs of temples, statues, jewellery and objects of worship. I draw inspiration from the mythology of a bygone world and sacred texts, finding connections to the present day.
My work is created in thematic collections, each relating to themes that are important to me – whether it is the practice of yoga, the love of nature and its structures, femininity and its perception throughout history, or music as a vehicle of emotion and tradition, combining the spheres of the sacred: visual, aural and spiritual, co-creating a kind of mystery.
The main media of my work are ceramics and painting. I also create jewellery. Each of my works is unique.
Since 2021, I have been teaching adults to work with clay in ceramic workshops. In 2022 I opened my own studio in Wroclaw. I work with galleries, architects and interior stylists. My works are in private collections in Poland and abroad.
